We were only two working on this entire project. I was responsible for all visual content: Environment, characters, concept images, game interfaces, visual effect, etc. Everything you see from this game is made by my hand. My friend, on his side, worked as a game designer and a programmer.

Artesium is a free-to-play strategy board game combining chess with collectible cards game.

The basics of the game are very similar to chess. You have to kill the enemy king before he kills yours. Each of your characters have a unique ability and 3 different values: attack, defense and movement range.

When you place cards on the board, they turn into 3D pieces. You can move those pieces in any direction  as long as nothing block your way. Only one character can be move per turn.

Finally, one of the main features offered by this game is the ability to spawn structures to defend your king and your territory. This game is a mix between chess, hearthstone and some sort of a city-building game, all in a funny cartoon style playable on your mobile device.

After many tests and overhauls, we our proud to show our game to the public, even if this is still in alpha stage, the idea behind it is promising.

A single-screen third-person cooperative puzzle solving and platforming game. This project took around 6 weeks to complete and I did around 70% of all the environment assets, modeling and texturing.

"Orbux is a game that offers original gameplay where the player must synchronize its essence of life with a dangerous environment. In a sidescroller format, the player is a loyal Solarie who must solve puzzles in order to stop the invasion of Noctuar, the god of darkness. In a 2.5D adventure style, the player will come across many obstacles that will add to the challenge while navigating through the ruins of the city of the Solaries. In addition, the keyboard and mouse as well as any gamepad can be used to complete the adventure. The player must complete his quest by moving and jumping across the impressive world and puzzles while using the Orbux to activate different objects and obstacles along the way."
